DIVERSION HIGHWAY A9
|Location and Year:||Badhoevedorp, 2013-2014|
|Features:||Design road construction|
The A9 project concerns an highway diversion between the junction of the highways A9/A5 and the exit road Aalsmeer. The new highway is situated approximately 600 meter south of the village of Badhoevedorp and will be widened to 2×3 lanes. The cloverleaf junction will be replaced with a new junction to improve the circulation of the traffic through this section. This highway with a total length of approximately 6,5 km will predominantly be constructed on a raised level (including parts with bottom ash), and will cross a number of roads and waterways.
- Geotechnical design of highway embankments (settlement and stability);
- Geotechnical analysis of the connections between the sand-founded highway and the structures;
- Geotechnical construction supervision;
- Draw up of a plan for the monitoring during construction.
